As Care Bloom sought to expand its product capabilities and market reach, the company faced the complex challenge of integrating sophisticated hardware with user-friendly digital interfaces. The goal was to ensure that the smartwatch could effectively communicate with mobile and web applications for real-time data access and alerts, which are crucial for the timely intervention by medical professionals, caregivers, and family members.   

Wise idea

To meet Care Bloom's needs, our team developed a comprehensive suite of digital solutions comprising a mobile app and a web application, designed specifically for use by home health care workers, caregivers, and relatives, not the patients themselves. These applications were engineered with intuitive user interfaces to facilitate easy access to vital information and alerts regarding the patients they care for.

In collaboration with a firmware team, we enhanced the smartwatch hardware to enable features like fall detection and predictive analytics by analyzing behavior and mobility patterns through deep machine learning algorithms. This integration ensured seamless operation between the smartwatch and the digital platforms, providing essential data and notifications to caregivers and relatives for immediate and informed responses.

The applications allow caregivers to receive instant alerts if a fall occurs or if there is a significant risk detected, ensuring that interventions can be timely and effective. They also facilitate the verification of care tasks, such as ensuring that critical activities are completed as prescribed, thus preventing inaccuracies and enhancing the quality of care delivered.

The Impact

The goal of these integrated digital and hardware solutions is to significantly elevate Care Bloom’s service delivery. Real-time alerts and health monitoring are to enable quicker emergency responses, enhanced patient outcomes, and increased caregiver efficiency.
